Accounting (Bookkeeping) Diploma Program

This program is designed to train the graduate for an entry-level career in the bookkeeping field. The graduate may work as an Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payables Clerk, Bookkeeper, Payroll Clerk, Accountant's Assistant, or Inventory Control clerk. The graduate of this program should possess advanced bookkeeping skills, familiarity with computerized bookkeeping systems, basic office skills, many end-user computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook). They will also have a solid foundation in business math and English as well as intermediate typing skills (approximately 30 words per minute). Graduates of the Accounting programcan transfer all of their credits into our Associate Degree in Business program and complete their Associate Degree in only three additional quarters (daytime).
